Just wanted to say I love the idea of this blog and that I found it from the "Wacky Websites" Tear-away desk calender I got for christmas.
Love the site :) Some great locations tooI also found it from the "Wacky Websites" calendar. Tristachio it looks like we'll keep bumping into each other on the interwebs for the next year ;)
Kewl blog. I used to live near Epe. I miss the Netherlands.
I, too, have the calendar. If this blog is any indication, it'll be a funny year.

This is hilarious. Really makes me smile. I also found it in the page a day calendar.
Haha, brilliant idea. Keep it up :D
Does anyone know where to get this calendar?
You will probably get further away from the camera if you try not to run in sight of the lens :-P
I'm surprised that you never knocked over your tripod and smashed the camera while trying to get away as fast as possible.
Hey! Could you do one showing R´dam Vroom & Dressman? As if you were running towards it? I dont work there, but when my brother used to live in Rotterdam I spent a lot of time on that marketplace, and the library. Thanks in advance!BTW: I like your idea, but would like to see you running backwards, so we could see your face. :D
thanks for this project. it made me smile.
Great concept! Running from the camera I love it!
Greatest hobby ever.
Most excellent! Be careful about someone grabbing your camera and running the other way, though -- you're giving them at least a 5-6 second head start.
This is a fantastic idea. I think I may have to do an homage to this on my Berlin Photo Blog. Love It!
i have the calender too :)
This is a hilarious blog! I'm going to try that with my camera. You should do a 10s one too. Just make sure someone is with your camera. Check my page <a href="http://www.budster.net" title=">Budster</a>. thanks for making me laugh!

All I can hear while looking at your pictures is Bowling For Soup's "I Ran". It's actually pretty funny.

This makes me miss the snow already.. what an awesome picture and I like the simple idea of just running from the camera! Simplicity, simply put, is the best.
The author is really cool. But some of the commentators are just posting stupid words.
Interesting photo, usually people snap as they are running to the camera not from it :), it looks like a police photo from the crime scene :)

The rules are simple: I put the self-timer on 2 seconds, push the button and try to get as far from the camera as I can.
